Post-Publication Discussion

The Journal of Education and Pedagogy (JEP) welcomes constructive scholarly discussion and feedback on articles after publication. Post-publication discussion provides an opportunity for readers, researchers, authors, and other members of the academic community to raise questions, provide comments, clarify findings, or discuss issues related to published articles.

Post-Publication Comments

Readers who wish to comment on or discuss a published article may contact the Editorial Office through the journal's official email or online communication channels. Comments should:

  • be relevant to the published article;
  • provide a clear and substantive academic contribution;
  • be based on evidence and scholarly reasoning;
  • maintain a respectful and professional tone; and
  • avoid personal attacks, defamatory statements, or inappropriate language.

The Editorial Team will assess submitted comments for relevance, academic value, ethical considerations, and compliance with the journal's publication policies before deciding whether they are suitable for publication or further discussion.

Author Response

When appropriate, the authors of the original article may be invited to respond to substantive comments or concerns. Authors are encouraged to provide a clear, evidence-based, and constructive response.

The journal may publish the original comment and the author's response as part of the post-publication scholarly record, where appropriate.

Corrections and Concerns

If post-publication discussion identifies a potential error, omission, ethical concern, or other issue that may affect the integrity of a published article, the Editorial Team will assess the matter in accordance with the journal's publication-ethics policies.

Depending on the nature and significance of the issue, JEP may publish a Correction, Expression of Concern, or Retraction, where appropriate.

Post-publication discussion does not replace the journal's formal procedures for handling allegations of research misconduct.

Editorial Moderation

JEP reserves the right to moderate, decline, or remove comments that are irrelevant, abusive, defamatory, promotional, discriminatory, or otherwise inconsistent with scholarly communication and publication ethics.

All post-publication discussions are expected to contribute constructively to the advancement of academic knowledge and the integrity of the scholarly record.
