Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

Journal of Education and Pedagogy (JEP) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and continued access to all published content. The journal implements electronic backup and digital preservation strategies through LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).

JEP's published content is preserved through distributed digital archiving, while the journal's database and publication files are periodically backed up on the publisher's server infrastructure. Published articles are maintained in digital formats, particularly PDF, together with their bibliographic metadata.

JEP also provides metadata through the OAI-PMH protocol to facilitate metadata harvesting, interoperability, and long-term discoverability.

These mechanisms are implemented to minimize the risk of permanent content loss and to support the continued availability and accessibility of the journal's published content in the event of technical failure, server disruption, or changes in publishing infrastructure.
